And the hits keep on coming! Shortly after announcing their multiple pickups, and long after many of their existing CW counterparts have been renewed, both 'Nikita' and 'The Carrie Diaries' have been picked up for additional seasons. 'Nikita' will return for a shortened fourth outing, while 'The Carrie Diaries' will continue its 'Sex and the City' buildup into a second season, so get the latest on both renewals inside!

'Nikita' fans, the day is yours! Despite some early concern at the Maggie Q-fronted action series being excluded from the initial round of pickups, sources report that 'Nikita' will indeed return for a (shortened) fourth season, along with a second season of fledgling prequel drama 'The Carrie Diaries.'

Both series join the existing renewal lineup of ‘Supernatural,’ ‘The Vampire Diaries,’ ‘Arrow,’ Hart of Dixie’ and ‘Beauty and the Beast,‘ with a number of original pickups as well. Exact episode orders for 'Nikita' and 'The Carrie Diaries' will be announced next week.

What say you? Are you relieved to have both 'Nikita' and 'The Carrie Diaries' back for additional seasons? What series are you still waiting to hear from?
