BBC-A breakout ‘Orphan Black’ has yet to release a single frame of footage from the new season premiering in spring 2015, but like the Leda (and now Castor) projects, all will inevitably come to light. Check out the first official photo of ‘Orphan Black’ season 3, as Tatiana Maslany‘s Sarah faces off with her cloned chromosomal counterpart!

You’re warned of some potential spoilers for ‘Orphan Black’ seasons 2 and 3 from here on out, but Entertainment Weekly managed to score the first official sneak peek of the 2015 run, as the premiere picks up shortly after season 2 finale “By Means Which Have Never Yet Been Tried.” The above interview with executive producer Graeme Manson teases a few new bits about the season, while the photo shows off male clone Rudy (Ari Millen), the same ominous “Scarface” clone highlighted in the prior finale.

Recently adding ‘Shameless’ vet Justin Chatwin in the role of businessman/drug-dealer Jason Kellerman, ‘Orphan Black’ season 3 will also feature ‘True Detectiveaddition James Frain as “cleaner” Ferdinand, ‘Black Swan’ star Ksenia Solo as Cosima’s new healer friend Shay, ‘Warehouse 13' star Kyra Harper as the military’s Dr. Coady, and Earl Pastko as Ferdinand’s bodyguard “Bulldog.”

So reads the ‘Orphan Black’ season 3 synopsis:

Season 3 plunges the clone sisterhood into unexpected territory with the realization that they’re not alone. Just when they thought they knew their enemies and allies, season three reveals our clones are more vulnerable than ever before. Highly trained, identical male-soldiers raise more questions than answers. Who are these new clones? Who created them? And more importantly, why do they exist?

Sarah, Cosima, Alison and Helena are stronger together than they are apart, but this season will put that bond to the test. Will they forge towards their truth, or fall at the feet of those that seek to control them?

In addition to ‘Game of Thrones’ star Michiel Huisman’s return, we also know series star Evelyne Brochu is confirmed to return in the role of Cosima’s scientist lover, Delphine. We’re still waiting on a full trailer before the show’s April 2015 premiere, but check out the photo above, rewatch the latest ‘Orphan Black’ season 3 teaser below, and tell us what you want to see when the #CloneClub returns in 2015!
