We're getting closer to the big debut of Sam Raimi's 'The Wizard of Oz' prequel, 'Oz: The Great and Powerful,' which also means we're getting closer to finally answering that one question that's plagued the fans' minds: who is the Wicked Witch of the West?

Perhaps now, we're a bit closer to discovering the answer as a brand-new 'Oz' poster has just arrived featuring the green-skinned menace of Oz herself.

Based on the full-length trailer for 'Oz: The Great and Powerful,' the Wicked Witch of the West is a little bit more terrifying than we remember her being from Dorothy's trek through the fantasy realm. The classic villain has claw-like hands, menacing green skin and prefers to emerge from devastating fireballs. And while all that's fine and dandy, we want to know which actress is portraying her.

In the latest 'Oz: The Great and Powerful' poster, which debuted on Cine1.com, we actually get a close up of the witch's face, though it's masked by makeup and shadow to know for sure who's underneath all the theatrics. The film stars James Franco as the Wonderful Wizard, and Michelle Williams, Mila Kunis and Rachel Weisz as Glinda, and sister witches Theodora and Evanora, respectively. While no official word has come regarding which (if either) of the similarly named witches will become the bane of Oz, the current buzz suggests that it will be Kunis, as she previously teased that her character will undergo a transformation that won't have children running up to her.

'Oz: The Great and Powerful' hits theaters March 8, 2013, so until then, please enjoy this new poster and give us your theories on the film and the Wicked Witch in the comments below. Click on the image for the hi-res version.
