Whether or not 'Parks and Recreation' season 5 proves to be the last outing for Leslie Knope, Ron Swanson and their 'Parks' department co-workers, the fifth season might be its most star-studded to date. Joining the ranks of numerous real-life politicians, Lucy Lawless and Christie Brinkley, frequent Wes Anderson player and former 'Bored to Death' star Jason Schwartzman is the next famous face to show up in Pawnee. So, who will the former 'Rushmore' star play?

Add another notch on 'Parks and Recreation's season 5 celebrity guest star belt, Pawnee is about to get 'Bored to Death.' The Huffington Post reports that frequent Wes Anderson star Jason Scwartzman will pop up in an upcoming 'Parks' episode,' appearing in a 2013 guest spot.

According to the report, Schwartzman will play Pawnee VideoDome owner Dennis Lerpiss, whose video store is the only independent movie rental joint in Pawnee. Once the store falls on hard times, Lerpiss teams up with Leslie Knope to have the store designated a historical landmark and save it from demolition.

In addition to the recent appearance from former supermodel Christie Brinkley and a serendipitous upcoming appearance from House speaker Newt Gingrich, 'Parks and Recration's fifth season has thus far included star-studded turns from Vice President Joe Biden, Lucy Lawless, ‘Breaking Bad‘s’ Jonathan Banks and Glenn Headly as Ben’s parents, and ‘House of Lies’ lead Ben Schwartz reprising his role as “Jean-Ralphio."

What say you? Will Jason Schwartzman's appearance be the best 'Parks and Recreation' guest yet?
