If you're a race fan, then you're probably waiting with bated breath for Gran Turismo 6 to round the corner and make your racing dreams come true on the PlayStation 3. But what about a release for the PlayStation 4?

An article on the Official PlayStation Magazine UK site features a quote from Polyphony Digital president Kazunori Yamauchi saying that they "actually do have a PS4 version in mind."

And... well, that's all he says about the subject. The rest of the article focuses on the 15th Anniversary of Gran Turismo and how Grand Turismo 6 differs from its past iterations. The main additions are more cars, better online functionality, more customization options and a cleaner user interface.

The team at Polyphony have collected tons of data about the different sensors on a car helps with control and how little details such as ride height, steering balance and aerodynamics matters when driving.

The result of their data collection is a racing simulation that's a lot more realistic than their previous games and offers an experience like no other.

Gran Turismo 6 is set for a release later this year on the PlayStation 3. Let us know what you think of the game and whether or not you'd want to play it on the PlayStation 4.
