We haven't heard much about Steven Spielberg's 'Robopocalypse' since it was announced that Chris Hemsworth was talking about joining the cast, but now it seems the film is adding more talent in front of and behind the camera. Anne Hathaway is supposedly circling the female lead, while Tom Rothman is in talks to produce the film.

Rothman, who recently announced that he would be stepping down from his role as the chairman of 20th Century Fox's feature film division, would then be following many studio heads in turning to a career in producing, like Robert Evans and both Darryl F. and Richard Zanuck. According to The Hollywood Reporter, he's been involved in the development of the film for a couple of years, so if he does come aboard it'd be no surprise (the film is being financed by Fox and Dreamworks).

Hathaway's career has been varied, as she went from Disney girl to Oscar baiter by proving that she wasn't squeaky clean, and was willing to go to dark places for her craft. She also proved she could handle herself in an action film this year with 'The Dark Knight Rises,' and may be chasing Oscar glory yet again this year with her turn as Fantine in 'Les Miserables.' 'Robopocalypse' has a April 25, 2014 release date, but the film sounds effects heavy, so we're guessing Spielberg will be on it once 'Lincoln' is completely finished.
