'SNL' Preview: Miley Cyrus, Won't Somebody Please Think of the Children?

EDIT
|

The fervor over Miley Cyrus at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards, and all the naked wrecking ball swings since seems to have died down, but will this Saturday's all-new 'SNL' start the gossip machine anew? The tongue-wagging Cyrus will pull double duty on this weekend's Tina Fey-follow up, so what do the first new 'SNL' previews of the week have to offer?

Taking things up top, Miley's first 'SNL' hosting promos since her 2011 appearance features the singer alongside Taran Killam as the pair make light of the various controversies from the VMA performances, though few of the jokes have anything really fresh to offer on the matter. Hey, we can't all be topless Tina Fey.

Upcoming weeks for 'SNL's 39th season will feature the returns of Bruce Willis, Katy Perry and Lady Gaga, while we're still keeping an eye on cast additions Brooks Wheelan, Mike O’Brien, John Milhiser, actress Noël Wells, and “Good Neighbor” performers Kyle Mooney and Beck Bennett, all of whom stepped in to replace the departed Bill Hader, Fred Armisen and Jason Sudeikis. Cecily Strong will likely take over the “Weekend Update” desk from Seth Meyers, after his 2014 ‘Late Night’ departure.

Check out Miley Cyrus' 'SNL' return in the latest preview above, and tell us if you think the NBC comedy will end up wrecked this weekend!
