'SNL' will say goodbye to eight-year veteran Bill Hader this weekend, potentially Jason Sudeikis and Fred Armisen as well during the Ben Affleck-hosted season finale, but newly-minted 'Late Night' host Seth Meyers isn't going anywhere yet. The 'Weekend Update' host and head writer will remain with the sketch comedy series through 2014, before taking over Jimmy Fallon's late-night hosting gig. Find out how long Seth Meyers sticks around for inside!

The world of late-night TV will look very different by this time next year, with Jimmy Fallon having ascended to the 'Tonight Show' throne from Jay Leno, as 'SNL' moves forward without Bill Hader or head writer Seth Meyers. Meyers will take over Fallon's 'Late Night' hosting gig, but according to his recent 'Today' show appearance, the comedian will remain with 'SNL' through early 2014.

"I'm nowhere near emotionally ready for Saturday to be my last show. I wouldn't be able to handle that," said Meyers. The 'Weekend Update' anchor will remain with 'SNL' for the first half of its 39th season, before taking up the 'Late Night' gig on February 24, 2014.

Well, what say you? Does 'SNL's' future look a little less bleak with Seth Meyers staying on until early 2014? Who do you think should take over as 'Weekend Update' host?
