While 'South Park's unfortunate fall air dates mean that the long-running Comedy Central series arrives too late to effectively parody 'The Avengers,' at the very least upcoming episode "A Nightmare on Facetime" will pay the Marvel blockbuster homage.  The boys look to dress as the iconic superhero tam for Halloween, only to find that Stan can't join them as Captain America, and instead has to send an iPad!  So what Halloween hijinks does the latest clip from Wednesday's "A Nightmare On Facetime" scare up?

It's Halloween in 'South Park' once more, and the latest episode won't be taking any impromptu trips to Hawaii like last week's disappointing "Going Native."  This week, Randy Marsh takes his son off the trick-or-treating roster for his own reasons, leaving the other boys in their 'Avengers' garb to endure "A Nightmare On Facetime," with Stan participating via his iPad.  From the official release:

AN ALL NEW SOUTH PARK HALLOWEEN SPECIAL PREMIERES ON WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 24 AT 10:00 P.M. ON COMEDY CENTRAL

NEW YORK, October 22, 2012 - Randy keeps Stan from trick or treating on an all-new episode of "South Park" titled "A Nightmare on Facetime," premiering Wednesday, October 24 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT on Comedy Central.

The boys are all ready to dress up as their favorite foursome, the Avengers, for Halloween. After months of planning their costumes, at the last minute Randy tells Stan he can’t go trick or treating with his friends. Instead, Stan has to pitch in and help his father with a new business venture.

What could be so horrifying about a night out on the town?  Will save his friends, or be too drawn in by his father's web?  Forget all about that other show airing this Wednesday at 10, and check out an all-new clip from ‘South Park’s “A Nightmare On Facetime” below!
