'Supernatural' may not see the Winchester brothers back on the case until October 8, but fans needn't wait one moment longer for a first look at new premiere episode "I Think I'm Gonna Like It Here"! The CW's first photo set from the all-new installment has come crashing to Earth, revealing along with it the first arrival of Tahmoh Penikett's new character, and a fan-favorite already showing his ghostly, grizzled mug once again!

Though he was somewhat dimly lit in the initial photos, 'Supernatural' fans will be happy to see that Bobby (Jim Beaver) is back right off the bat, riding with the boys in the Impala for an unknown reason. But judging from what we saw in the previous trailer, it sounds like he and Sam will have a bit of one-on-one time upstairs, if you know what we mean! (Wait, that didn't sound right.)

Elsewhere, we get a good look at 'Battlestar Galactica' vet Tahmoh Penikett as fallen angel Ezekiel, who clearly helps Dean take care of Sam in his deathly state, and even allows the elder Winchester to communicate with his indisposed brother. Still, we're left wondering, where's Crowley or Castiel in all of this?

Premiering October 8, ‘Supernatural’ season 9 will also feature the return of Felicia Day‘s Charlie Bradbury, Death (Julian Richings) and ABC ‘Whodunit’ host Gildart Jackson will appear in a significant “Men of Letters” flashback. Executive producers Jeremy Carver and Robert Singer have otherwise previewed the CW drama’s ninth year, particularly the expanded role angels would play in the mythology going forward and a secret that Dean will be keeping from Sam.

Well, what are you waiting for, 'Supernatural' fans? Preview the ninth season premiere, "I Think I'm Gonna Like It Here," in the photos below, and tell us what you want to see from Sam and Dean this year in the comments!
