Besides the 2013 Super Bowl, the real excitement last night may have been what was under a dome of a different kind (or not under it, depending on your understanding of electricity), but CBS certainly didn't waste the opportunity to at least get the phrase 'Under the Dome' out there. Full casting has yet to be completed and filming has yet to begin, but CBS started early getting the word out on its summer Stephen King series 'Under the Dome' with a first-look teaser that premiered during the Super Bowl. '2 Broke Girls' took the motto "sex sells" and used it to great effect for their 2013 Super Bowl commercial. There were no clips from the show, no jokes, no nothing really, except stars Kat Dennings and Beth Behrs pole dancing in revealing outfits. And it might've been the most effective commercial of the entire Super Bowl...

While 'Fast and Furious 6,' 'Iron Man 3,' 'The Lone Ranger' and the like all premiered new trailers during the 2013 Super Bowl, CBS' hit show 'The Big Bang Theory' decided to get in on the mix by releasing its own football-inspired Super Bowl commercial. Check it out after the jump.

Did you really think the biggest show on television would be completely absent from the Super Bowl? Of course not! Although there won't be any actual 'The Walking Dead' trailers playing during the big game (you can watch the latest one right here, though), a few Time Warner Cable commercials have borrowed the iconography (and a certain cast member) from the show in an amusing way.
