While there's no telling how different 'Wilfred' season 3 could feel now that showrunner David Zuckerman has left the series, we're eagerly awaiting the latest demented misadventures of Ryan and his imaginary pal. FX has officially set a June 20 premiere date with back to back episodes, and a number of new guest stars, so what other bones will FX throw 'Wilfred' fans this year?
Now that 'Justified' season 4 has come to a close and FX has announced its upcoming slate for the forseeable future, 'Wilfred' is starting to come out of the woodwork. The third season of the FX dramedy has yet to set an official premiere under new showrunners Reed Agnew and Eli Jorne, but recent castings and the latest batch of teasers from the acclaimed series all but assure 'Wilfred' will soon heel. Check out the first look at 'Wilfred' season 3 inside!
While 'Maniac' doesn't mark the first time Elijah Wood has played a psychopath (remember his creepy turn in 'Sin City'?), it's certainly showing us a side of Frodo Baggins we've never seen before. Not that you'll actually see much of him in it. The film, a remake of a nasty 80s cult classic, takes place from the Wood character's point of view, so we'll only get to actually view his face in reflections.
If you want a peek inside the mind of this remake, the first six minutes of 'Maniac' have been released online and can be watched after the break!
Hooray, doggie bones and bongs for everyone! Up until now we'd been somewhat nervous about the fate of FX's critically-adored surrealist drama 'Wilfred,' after the network aired its second season finale without news of a guarantee for the third. Today we've learned for certain that the Elijah Wood/Jason Gann man's best friend comedy has indeed fetched another year, but what shake-up is in store? Will 'Wilfred' have a different bite for season 3?
Elijah Wood is really getting into the Halloween spirit. The actor, who used to be associated with Hobbits and tap-dancing penguins, has been immersing himself into the horror genre lately with relish and continues the streak with 'Cooties,' a new horror-comedy about murderous children he'll both star in and produce.
I don't know what's scarier -- a 6'8 knife wielding maniac or a knife wielding maniac the size of a mini refrigerator. Either one would suck, but we're thinking a dude the size of a Hobbit running at you with an open blade would kill you quicker because you'd be frozen in your tracks from laughing so hard. Although none of the victims in this trailer for 'Maniac' starring Elijah Wood are having a good time.
