One of the great sins committed by the original 'Fantastic Four' movie was how badly it botched the character of Dr. Doom, one of the best and most iconic villains in the Marvel universe. The megalomaniacal dictator of Latveria is getting another chance on the big screen thanks to the upcoming reboot, where he'll be played by Toby Kebbell. While it's too early to actually judge this latest take on Doom in any way, some newly revealed tidbits automatically make him sound better than the previous iteration.

Twentieth Century Fox must be happy with 'Fantastic Four,' if the studio is already planning 'Fantastic Four 2,' right?
A rumor circulated recently claiming that Fox was looking to completely start over on the rebooted superhero film with an entirely new cast and crew, though we quickly debunked that one. To further prove how serious they are about their upcoming slate of Marvel movies, the studio set release dates for 'Fantastic Four 2,' 'Wolverine 3' and one untitled Marvel movie.

UPDATE: For what it's worth, we spoke to some high-level studio sources who flatly denied the below report and stated it's "not at all" true. Filming is still scheduled to begin on April 21 and Trank himself is on set right now.
The 'Fantastic Four' movie has not been without its hiccups, but few superhero movies are. We didn't think much of the troubles and when the cast was finally announced - Miles Teller, Michael B. Jordan, Kate Mara and Jamie Bell - we assumed it would be a fairly smooth ride to the start of production this summer. But, according to a shocking new report, Fox is looking to reboot it's reboot: they reportedly have fired director Josh Trank, thrown out the existing script and are looking to recast the movie.

The Josh Trank reboot of 'Fantastic Four' has found its foursome with Miles Teller, Kate Mara, Michael B. Jordan and Jamie Bell cast as Mr. Fantastic, The Invisible Girl, The Human Torch and The Thing, respectively, which means there's one last big piece of the puzzle: Dr. Victor von Doom, the quartet's greatest nemesis. Now it appears it's down to four actors.

Josh Trank's 'Fantastic Four' reboot caused much speculation as of late as various actors and actresses have been mentioned for roles. Michael B. Jordan of 'Fruitvale Station' has long been linked to the role of Johnny Storm/Human Torch (a role previously portrayed onscreen by Chris Evans), but now it looks like the other members of his team have been found!

As actors have already begun testing for roles in Josh Trank's upcoming 'Fantastic Four' reboot, fundamentalist fans have become uneasy over some drastic changes to the characters' mythos. For one, Michael B. Jordan, who's been rumored for the role of the traditionally caucasian Johnny Storm/Human Torch, is reportedly already attached to the character, but even more unexpected is word that 20th Century Fox could bring the classic Dr. Doom villain to life as a woman.

With the 'Fantastic Four' script finally complete, actors and actresses are expected to come in and read for roles in Josh Trank's upcoming reboot by the end of the month. Miles Teller, one of said actors reportedly up for a part, suggested the director would take the film in a very different direction than what we've seen from Jessica Alba, Chris Evans and the rest. But seemingly new plot details have surfaced, hinting that this new take completely does away with the classic origin tale.
