Even as it heads into its third season beginning on Sunday September 30, it's easy for 'Bob's Burgers' to have slipped through the cracks when it comes to FOX animation, particularly with the choke-hold Seth MacFarlane seems to have.  Still, compounding the recent news of an 'Archer' cross-over with H. Jon Benjamin, 'Bob's Burgers' season 3 is easily going to grab your attention with guest stars like 'Mad Men's Jon Hamm, and a deluxe feast of others you need to see to believe.

Ever since 1999's 'Election,' Alexander Payne's films have been like catnip to the Academy. 2002's 'About Schimdt' got two nominations, 2004's 'Sideways' got five nominations and last year's 'The Descendants' also got five. Payne himself has been nominated five times and has won twice. His next film, 'Nebraska' stars Will Forte and Bruce Dern. Mathematically, this means Forte could be an Oscar contender.

A few weeks ago, ScreenCrush broke the news that 'MacGruber' director Jorma Taccone was interested in bringing his spectacularly mulleted comedy hero back to the big screen despite the first film massively underperforming (let's face it, bombing) at the box office. Yesterday, Jeremy Smith from Ain't It Cool News asked MacGruber himself, Will Forte, about the situation and he received a more realistic response.

Fear not, Will Forte!  Where once it seemed like all hope had been lost for Forte's post-'SNL' FOX series 'Rebounding,' it seems like the series might get another chance for a pickup.  FOX surprisingly passed on the series when it came time to announce its fall 2012 lineup, but which network might decided to pull the series out of the bin, and to pair it with what?

Exclusive: 'MacGruber 2' In the Works?

'MacGruber' didn't make much of an impact when it hit theaters back in 2010. In fact, the headline the morning after was "'MacGruber' Bombs." But a funny thing happened over the past two years: people realized 'MacGruber' is actually hilarious (seriously it is!) and the film developed a cult following.
And because of that devoted following, the unthinkable is happening: director Jorma Taccone and star Will Forte are developing a sequel.

'Saturday Night Live's Will Forte Lands FOX Sitcom 'Rebounding'

I never thought I'd say this, but I have to hand it to the FOX network for largely keeping to the single-camera sitcom with efforts like 'Raising Hope' and 'New Girl,' particularly against CBS' domination of the format and NBC's recent shameless attempts to replicate that success. That's why I (and I hope you) can be borderline optimistic  that 'Saturday Night Live' star Will Forte has joined FOX's upcoming single-camera sitcom 'Rebounding.'
