Yesterday saw Hulu releasing its first official photos of Jason Katims’ 2016 religious drama The Path, but like all cults, secrets rarely stay buried for long. Even more photos have arrived of Hannibal alum Hugh Dancy, Breaking Bad star Aaron Paul and True Detective alum Michelle Monaghan, as well as new details of the March premiere.

Hulu’s original programming pedigree is certainly growing, and Jason Katims’ 2016 religious drama The Path may be its biggest breakthrough yet. Our first photos of Hannibal alum Hugh Dancy, Breaking Bad breakout Aaron Paul and True Detective player Michelle Monaghan has arrived, along with new intel to put us along The Path toward a March premiere.

Amid all the Hannibal news of late, we’d known that Hugh Dancy and Breaking Bad alum Aaron Paul would headline Hulu religious drama The Way with Michelle Monaghan, and at last we know where The Path will begin. In addition to a name-change, Hulu has set a March 2016 premiere for the Jason Katims drama, along with its first teaser.

At first glance, Eye in the Sky might make you think of Good Kill, the drone warfare thriller from last year starring Ethan Hawke. Or maybe Homeland. But Eye in the Sky has something those things don’t: Helen Mirren. The legendary actress stars in the intriguing new drama as a UK colonel out to stop Kenyan terrorists, the way you never knew you always wanted to see her.

I don’t think I’ve ever not recognized Kate Winslet in a movie before. But I did not recognize her in the latest trailer for Triple 9. It wasn’t until her name flashed onscreen that I even realized it was her — and even then I had to rewind to see for myself. According to Wikipedia, which is never wrong, she plays “a Russian-Israeli Mafia moll.” My favorite kind of Mafia moll!

John Hillcoat is the director behind The Road and Lawless, which makes Triple 9 an instant must-see. Originally conceived as a starring vehicle for Lawless star Shia LaBeouf, Triple 9 was put on the back burner for a few years before Hillcoat got back to work on it, replacing LaBeouf with Casey Affleck for this nasty little crime thriller. The first trailer has arrived, and as the red band warning promises, things get very, very brutal.

Breaking Bad might have shown us Heisenberg’s final stand long ago, but any good chemist can attest, there’s always more knowledge to be gained. Rev up the RV and break out the hazmat suits, we’ve cooked up another batch of Breaking Bad facts for the 20th episode of ‘You Think You Know TV?’!

Granted, we’ve known for some time that Hannibal stars Hugh Dancy and Mads Mikkelsen were released from their contracts, it’s a different kind of gut stab to see them actually line up new gigs. Dancy at least, is off to a fine start, joining Breaking Bad alum Aaron Paul in Jason Katims’ new Hulu faith drama The Way.
