We’ve seen more than a few looks at Samurai Jack’s Adult Swim return for Season 5, but does that famous Genndy Tartakovsky action still hold up? Hands down, as revealed in a rip-roaring, robot-slashing and heavy metal clip from Jack’s futuristic return.

The sizable delay in premiering Rick and Morty Season 3 has many a fan on edge, and where would Adult Swim be without the willingness to have a little fun? Surely they’d never run around and desert us, after promising to debut the first scene of Season 3, right?

We’ve already seen one look at Samurai Jack’s Adult Swim return for Season 5, but it’s worth wondering how the style has evolved in a decade or so since its Cartoon Network days. Allow Genndy Tartakovsky and composer Tyler Bates to explain in an extended featurette for the March premiere.

After so many years (and an apparent lifetime’s worth of rain), Cartoon Network’s Samurai Jack is finally unsheathing his sword for a March return. The fifth season looks ready to strike in a brand-new teaser for the Adult Swim premiere, set fifty years after the prior series.

The third season of Adult Swim favorite Rick and Morty got a slight update this week with co-creator Dan Harmon’s insight into the delay, citing “fights” with himself and partner Justin Roiland. As you can imagine, “fights” can be a loaded term, for which Harmon speaks out again to clarify “the truth is not dramatic.”

Fans of Adult Swim’s Rick and Morty have been admittedly patient with Season 3; last projected to air in 2016, after Season 2 finished the prior October. There’s good news and bad on that front, as while the new season remains deep in production, co-creator Dan Harmon stepped up to blame himself for the delay.

We’ve known since at least 2015 that Cartoon Network’s Samurai Jack would live anew with an Adult Swim revival, and it might be time to get that theme stuck in your head again. The network has quietly confirmed a March premiere date for the returning series
