While many of us were disheartened to learn that 'True Blood' creator Alan Ball would be stepping down as showrunner for the sixth season of HBO's bloody drama, the news was tempered by the fact that Ball would swiftly return to TV to helm Cinemax's pulpy thriller 'Banshee.'
