Hot on the heels of an Emmy nomination for his Abominable Bride, Sherlock has an even better companion by his side for Season 4. The first new photo has arrived, as Sherlock appears to have replaced Dr. Watson with a bloodhound, but is there a deeper significance?

It’s starting to seem as if The Neon Demon director Nicolas Winding Refn makes more headlines for the projects he doesn’t do, like Spectre or a potential Batgirl movie, and it seems we can add Doctor Who to the pile. Refn had apparently been turned down for directing an episode of the BBC staple, apart from his own designs on a movie.

It doesn’t appear as if Doctor Who will be dropping by Comic-Con 2016, but ahead of Steven Moffat’s final season, the longtime showrunner seems to be letting it all hang out. Not only does a new interview see Moffat admitting some major mistakes in both Season 7 and the Season 9 premiere, but also when we’ll finally meet Pearl Mackie’s new companion Bill.

It seems like only yesterday we learned that Orphan Black would close down #CloneClub for good with Season 5, but we can’t well wait until summer 2017 for a proper send-off. Thankfully, Comic-Con 2016 will give us the Orphan Black goodbye we deserve, along with an introduction to Max Landis’ Dirk Gently, but where’s Doctor Who?

And lo, another season of Orphan Black has come to an end with Thursday’s fourth-year finale “From Dancing Mice to Psychopaths,” a climax bolstered by the recent announcement of Season 5's renewal and conclusion. Looking ahead to the final season, co-creator Graeme Manson reveals both reasoning behind the abrupt end, as well the potential story continuation in spinoffs and movies.

It’s the beginning of the end for Doctor Who as we know it, now that Season 10 will begin filming Steven Moffat’s last year with the sci-fi staple. Production set to begin next week, Doctor Who has even confirmed Matt Lucas will join the ride as the bumbling Nardole.

Sherlock production has been curiously quiet since the initial announcement last month, with nary a sighting of Benedict Cumberbatch or Martin Freeman, though it seems the game is finally once again afoot. Captain America baddie Toby Jones has officially been announced as a new Season 4 villain, deepening the great Moriarty mystery.
