'Boardwalk Empire' "Sunday Best" Preview: Gyp Rosetti Returns, Eli Tempts Fate

'Boardwalk Empire' season 3 put in something of a quieter hour this week with "Ging Gang Goolie," as Bobby Canavale's Gyp Rosetti stayed out of the proceedings and Tabor Heights altogether after the tense climax of "You'd Be Surprised."  But even with Rosetti licking his wounds, Gyp isn't going to stay out of the picture for long, as this week's "Sunday Best" will show off a bit of his home life!  Plus, what does Eli beg of his brother Nucky in the newest clip?

Well, this had to happen eventually.  For five episodes of 'Boardwalk Empire's third season now, we've watched as Gillian Darmody (Gretchen Mol) seemed ever more subtly unhinged after the death disappearance of her son Jimmy, but it looks like the sh*t's about to hit the mattress.  One of the latest clips from Sunday's "Ging Gang Goolie" features the erstwhile madame chatting up a gentleman that looks suspiciously like Jimmy Darmody, and well...eww.  See for yourself.

Now that the heat is officially on, and Gyp Rosetti has launched an attack on Nucky Thompson's alcohol enterprise, "You'd Be Surprised" how quickly things are going to spiral out of control for 'Boardwalk Empire's Atlantic City.  This Sunday will see the fifth all-new episode of the season, as Nucky petitions Arnold Rothstein (Michael Stuhlbarg) to get involved with the ongoing feud, while simultaneously taking care of some business for his new-found lady love Billie Kent (Meg Steedle).  But who's doing the dirty work, according to these new clips from "You'd Be Surprised?"

Now that a fourth season is assured, we needn't worry that too much harm is going to come to 'Boardwalk Empire's Nucky Thompson, even as unstable gangsters like Gyp Rosetti (Bobby Canavale) take every excuse to start a conflict.  Certainly after his percieved slight in "Bone For Tuna" the heat is quite literally on in their growing conflict.  So, what do the first official clips from follow-up episode "Blue Bell Boy" reveal?  Who's next in danger of facing Nucky's wrath?

For those of you wondering of HBO's period gangster drama 'Boardwalk Empire' could continue on successfully without one of its leading stars, your inquiries have been answered.  The pay-cabler network has officially renewed the Steve Buscemi mob saga four a fourth season, currently airing its third on Sunday nights.  But when will we see the new episodes, and is the order a different size than usual, like the recent 'True Blood' and 'Treme' orders?
