Even though the production schedule means that 'Game of Thrones' won't have anything of season 3 to show at Comic-Con 2012, we can barely contain our excitement to see our favorite stars gather together to discuss the show with the fans. Peter Jackson returns to Comic-Con's Hall H this year with 'The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey,' part one of two films based on the J.R.R. There are marketing gimmicks and then there are Marketing Gimmicks! Consider Lucasfilm's plan to promote the upcoming Indiana Jones Blu-ray at Comic Con the latter in every way possible: a recreation of the iconic Well of Souls sequence from 'Raiders of the Lost Ark'...complete with live snakes.

Recently, we shared a piece of ‘Iron Man 3’ concept art that fans will be able to grab in Comic-Con 2012 (while supplies last). We had fun speculating on what might be happening in the above image. Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) looks surprised by the men with machine guns running toward him. And why is the armor on his arm smoking? Who better to ask then the man himself?

Peter Jackson has wrapped principal photography on ‘The Hobbit,’ notching 266 shooting days under his belt. He celebrated by posting the above shot to the movie’s Facebook page, along with a message for his fans.
