We’re only two weeks away from the release of DC Films’ Wonder Woman, and by my watch, that means it’s time for Warner Bros. to open the floodgates a bit when it comes to marketing the film. And wouldn’t you know it? Right on schedule, the studio has released a whole bunch of clips from the new film. We’ve got scenes where Wonder Woman throws down against enemy soldiers, scenes where Wonder Woman struggles to understand the “modern” world, and a whole bunch of scenes where Chris Pine plays the comic relief to Gal Gadot’s straight woman. If you’ve been hoping for a closer look at the world that director Patty Jenkins has put together, here’s your chance.

While Wonder Woman fans might’ve been worried about the lack of advertising for the upcoming film, pundits were quick to tell audiences to relax, they’re coming, you just have to let them get to the other side of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. It would seem the pundits are right: last night’s episode of Saturday Night Live with Wonder Woman co-star Chris Pine capped a week of new television spots, publicity photos, and interviews with the cast and crew. And now Warner Bros. has gone all out with a brand new trailer for Wonder Woman during tonight’s MTV Movie & TV Awards.

With all eyes on the next entry in the DC Cinematic Universe, it’s hard to say what is under more pressure: Wonder Woman, the World War II-era superhero and savior of the modern world, or Wonder Woman, the first female-directed movie in the modern blockbuster era and a stab at social relevance for the beleaguered executives at Warner Bros. The first Wonder Woman trailer that debuted at Comic-Con hit all the right notes for an exciting and female-driven superhero movie; would additional trailers walk back that promise or deliver more of the same?

It’s official: as evidenced last week by a set photo featuring Chris Pine, production on Wonder Woman is underway with director Patty Jenkins, and Warner Bros. has released the first official photo of Gal Gadot as the titular superhero. In addition, the studio has announced several new cast members, including Danny Huston, David Thewlis and Robin Wright.

It's a tale as old as TV, that the cancellation of one series leads to speculation of a cinematic return, or a new outlet to continue the story. Starz's cancelled 'Magic City' might be the craziest example we've heard yet, however, returning the 1960's Jeffrey Dean Morgan Miami crime drama to the big screen, and adding the likes of Bruce Willis and Bill Murray!

If 'Asylum' is to act as any kind of guide, 'American Horror Story: Coven' will have plenty more castings to divulge right through the October 9 premiere, both new and old. Latest to sign on for round three of FX's Ryan Murphy horror-thriller is 'Magic City' star and 'X-Men' franchise player Danny Huston, who joins opposite Jessica Lange in a role sure to end bloody this fall.
