We don't normally make a habit of paying attention to TNT's bro-tastic lawyer buddy comedy 'Franklin & Bash,' set to air its third season this summer on the Turner network, but some news is far too good-looking to ignore. We've just learned that one-time 'Melrose Place' hottie Heather Locklear has officially joined the cast of 'Franklin & Bash' season 3 in a series regular role, but who will the lovely lady Locklear be playing?
We don't often give dude-bro-tastic lawyer drama 'Franklin & Bash' a great deal of attention, unless it's picked up for a third season, or Mark-Paul Gosselaar attempts to take over the entirety of ABC's Tuesday night lineup. Still, it's of interest to note that the TNT series appears to have unceremoniously dropped star Garcelle Beauvais in advance of the third season. Thankfully, there are always parts in the banana stand, as the actress will next head to 'Arrested Development' season 4!
Boy, very little seems to go wrong for TNT these days. On the heels of a major summer that saw big ratings upticks and renewals for buzz-worthy dramas 'Falling Skies' and the updated 'Dallas,' and on top of the recent announcement that 'The Closer' spin-off 'Major Crimes' would itself move onto another season, the network has good news for fans of legal comedy 'Franklin & Bash.' The Mark Gosselaar/Breckin Meyer fronted series will return for season 3, but when will it debut?

Talk about going meta. In its first season, 'Don't Trust the B in Apartment 23' (or however you're supposed to say that) surprised viewers by including 'Dawson's Creek' star James Van Der Beek not as an original character, but as a hackneyed, has-been version of himself! So now that season 2 sees the down-and-out Dawson looking to cash in on his former fame with a 'Dawson's Creek' reunion, what former child sitcom stars will split the 'Middle' and get 'Saved By the Bell?'
