The madness of 2014's Upfront season has come and gone, but that doesn't mean the major networks are without a few bombshells to drop. Sure, we've seen most of the official schedules, but NBC is the first to officially unveil their slate of fall 2014 premieres, surprisingly placing comic adaptation 'Constantine' for an October bow, with Katherine Heigl's TV return 'State of Affairs' moving even further back to November.

'Grimm' is getting close to wrapping up its third season (this is the penultimate episode), which has charted the birth of Adalind's child, and the upcoming marriage of Monroe and Rosalee. Otherwise, the rest of the gang have comfortably fallen into place as Nick's occasional helpers, so perhaps the arrival of Teresa is meant to shake things up.

Does Nick have a protege? Will this mystery character, Teresa Rubel (hence "Trubel" hence trouble) prove to have a lasting impact on the show or will she be excised from the story fairly quickly? We're heading into the home stretch of 'Grimm''s third season, with this the antepenultimate episode, so perhaps this is all set up for season 4.

Tonight's episode of 'Grimm' comes as the Portland Trailblazers are actually doing well in the finals, and as Portland has only one professional sports team (and the Blazers haven't won a playoff series since 2000), I feel for Portlanders past and current who are torn between watching the game and watching the show.
That said, tonight's episode returns to the monster of the week-style episodes that haven't been as prevalent this season, as the show's mythology has been more front and center. But even for a return to the familiar, tonight's episode puts a twist on the "of the week" aspect.

With Adalind and Nick's mom Kelly back in Portland, tonight's 'Grimm' is definitely building to a season three finale. How that plays out is anyone's guess as the show has spent a lot of time this year building on the show's created universe and tonight's episide completely abandons any pretense of having a monster of the week.

NBC's 'Parks and Recreation' Gets Official Season 7 Renewal, Plus 'Grimm' and More

NBC's 2013-14 lineup brought about too few breakout hits to jeopardize that consistent performer 'Parks and Recreation' would return for a seventh season, to the point that NBC heads even informally confirmed a renewal back in January, but we all know how Leslie Knope likes an official approval. Plus, 'Grimm,' 'Chicago Fire' and its spinoff will will all return for additional seasons as well!

With last week's revelations that Adalind's baby has been born and that Sgt. Wu has a first name (Drew) out of the way, we're hoping tonight's 'Grimm' steps up its game, though it looks more like a monster of the week episode from the outset. With Monroe and Rosalee prepping a wedding, and Nick's mom due home shortly, this could go lots of ways. Read on for all you need to know about tonight's episode "Once Were Gods."
