Although we've already seen a ton of footage and publicity materials for Jeff Wadlow's 'Kick-Ass 2,' Universal Studios brought the title out for its Comic-Con 2013 panel on Friday, July 20.
ScreenCrush’s Comic Strip is a weekly roundup of the hottest superhero movie news items. From Marvel to DC and points in between, if it pertains to costumed comic-book heroes, we’re covering it here, bringing you our expert analysis. The new 'Kick-Ass 2' trailer, coming at us from across the pond, is here with more new kick-ass footage of our title character, Hit-Girl and their buddies like Colonel Stars and Stripes. For these heroes, living out a normal life is just not in the hands they were dealt.
It will be interesting to see if any of these 'Kick-Ass 2: Balls to the Wall' character posters get hung up in movie theaters. Character posters are all the rage (the last 'Twilight' film had about seven hundred), but it's hard to imagine a multiplex hanging up a poster that says "The Mother F---er" in their lobby.
