It's official. Self-proclaimed Liz Taylor devotee and tabloid mainstay, Lindsay Lohan has signed on to play her idol in Lifetime's upcoming biopic, 'Liz & Dick.' Seriously, so much for Ryan Murphy saying at last year's Comic-Con that 'Glee's third season would rely on characters over buzz-worth guest stars.  Granted, he also went back on that whole "graduation = leaving the show" thing.  So if Lindsay Lohan can turn our heads as an upcoming 'Glee' guest star, but will there be a certain Hilton alongside her?

Lindsay Lohan had a very good day on Thursday. Not only is she off formal probation for the first time in years, she's been given the green light to head to Canada to film her upcoming Elizabeth Taylor biopic.

If Lindsay Lohan can keep herself out of trouble for just a few more hours (something that may be wildly optimistic), she'll be off formal probation for the first time in four years.

You know, I watched NBC's 'Smash' last night, and while admittedly still finding its feet, I found myself thinking that the show hopefully wouldn't reach that 'Glee' level of pop disaster.  Now, just as quickly as one 'Glee' casting raises hope, another sets the disaster bar way, way lower.

Perhaps Lindsay Lohan's mixed reviews on her 'SNL' return would have been bolstered by sketch comedy golden boy, Jon Hamm.  Sadly, we'll never know, as the sketch they appeared in together was cut after dress rehearsal. But what was it?

We've all had a bit of fun at Lindsay Lohan's expense over the years, but if her recent public image is to be believed, are we really at an end to the so-called "Lind-Sanity?"  Time will tell if the "Mean Girl' really has learned her lesson, but for now there's still a bit more fun to be had for parody's sake.
