Less than a week after the first full Ghostbusters trailer, there’s now a second trailer. An international trailer! All the characters speak exotic languages! (Okay, not really, they all speak English.) But, hey there’s a lot more Chris Hemsworth in this trailer! He’s from Australia! That’s international! (Or Asgard, which would technically make this the intergalactic trailer.)

The trailer for Paul Feig’s Ghostbusters finally arrived a couple of days ago, offering our first look at the new team in action and instantly establishing Kate McKinnon as the film’s MVP. Most people seem pretty divided on the trailer, with some criticizing the lengthy first look for lacking a bit of punch. Fan edits are rarely better than the stuff they’re manipulating, but this new cut of the Ghostbusters trailer feels a little more effective than Sony’s official version.

Ever since the Ghostbusters reboot has been announced (with an all-female cast) the film has been harshly judged, sight unseen. Today, director Paul Feig has officially revealed the Ghostbusters trailer, so now we can judge the film on its own merits...

Paul Feig’s Ghostbusters hits theaters in just five months, and while we’ve seen plenty of photos and toys based on the upcoming film, we’ve yet to see any actual footage. That sort of changes today, as Sony has released an announcement trailer featuring the first glimpse of footage (it’s quite foreboding) along with the promise of a real, honest-to-goodness trailer…in March.

Melissa McCarthy returned to Studio 8H for her fourth outing as SNL host, and while it may have made more sense for her to host closer to the April release date of her new comedy The Boss, it's difficult to complain. McCarthy teams up with her Ghostbusters co-stars Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones for a mostly great episode that really leans into the weird stuff and makes excellent use of musical guest Kanye West in an early contender for best sketch of the year. If you weren’t quite sure what to make of The Boss after that green band trailer debuted, then maybe this new red band trailer will give you a better of idea of what Melissa McCarthy & Co. are up to in her latest comedy. Like the underwhelming Tammy before it, The Boss was also written by McCarthy and her husband, Ben Falcone, and while that has us feeling a bit skeptical, there’s something that feels more lively about this film — or maybe it’s just all that profanity.

A recent preview of the Ghostbusters LEGO set revealed not only the trusty ol’ Ecto-1, but an interesting new vehicle — the Ecto-2. We weren’t sure if the motorcycle would be making an appearance in the film, or if it was simply a fun bonus for the toy set. Sony has released a new image of the real Ecto-2 from the set of Paul Feig’s upcoming film, confirming that the new vehicle is indeed very much real.

SNL set a pretty high bar for the rest of Season 41 with Larry David’s hosting debut this past weekend, but will Melissa McCarthy prove so reliable with Kanye West, given all the controversy of late? Get a taste by the first promos as McCarthy gets her nails done with Vanessa Bayer.

Early this morning, Sony Pictures relaunched the official site for Ghostbusters, the home of the original two movies, the cartoons and the upcoming reboot. Along with the relaunch, we got five new photos from the film, each highlighting one of the main characters from the movie, including our first look at Chris Hemsworth as the new Ghostbusters secretary. Eat your heart out, Janine Melnitz!

It’s a tale as old as TV, one show giving rise to a mega-star among the ranks, and Gilmore Girls has had its share both before and after Melissa McCarthy. Sadly, it doesn’t appear as if the Ghostbusters star will reprise her role as Sookie St. James for Netflix’s long-heralded Gilmore revival, according to a chilly tweet from the star.
