Oh, what fortuitous timing be this. Just days before February, SNL has set its second host of the 2016 month behind Larry David, as Leslie Jones and Kate McKinnon’s fellow Ghostbuster Melissa McCarthy will return to take the stage, with none other than Kanye West bringing up the rear.

Still a broadcast rating juggernaut, CBS could make the argument more than most for extending or cutting short its most recognizable hits, and with TCA putting the Eye in the limelight, CBS has good news and bad. We may not have to worry about The Big Bang Theory returning after next season, while Mike & Molly’s closure is official, and both The Good Wife and Person of interest get dubious futures.

Just the other day we saw our first official photo from Ghostbusters (minus the previous posed, publicity photos) and today we have the first four posters from the film, highlighting our new set of Ghostbusters in Paul Feig’s upcoming reboot.

There’s still quite a while to go until the July 15, 2016 release date of Paul Feig’s all-female Ghostbusters reboot, but the fires of fan anticipation must be continually stoked if they’re going to burn strong enough to last through the winter, and the wasteland of pop-cultural apathy that is the month of January...

Die-hard fans of CBS’ Mike & Molly not withstanding, many wondered how long the series could keep Melissa McCarthy to a series regular commitment, given her full-fledged movie career. That question may have answered itself however, as a series star claims that CBS halved the Season 6 order, with intent to cancel Mike & Molly thereafter.

Well this is certainly an unorthodox adaptation of a Starz political drama starring Kelsey Grammer.

The reaction to the new Ghostbusters reboot starring Melissa McCarthy and Kristen Wiig has been…divisive to say the very least. At the very worst, it’s been downright hateful. Director Paul Feig has been as polite as possible to all the people who’ve come at him on Twitter, but even he reached his breaking point. After a series of particularly upsetting tweets, Feig had some harsh words for the haters: “Go f— yourself.”

Spy is one of the funniest movies of the year, and even further proof of Paul Feig’s insane ability to make wonderful woman-centric comedies. The film is hitting DVD and Blu-ray soon, and two new featurettes have popped up online showing off two of the film’s key comedic ingredients: Rose Byrne and Jason Statham, the latter of whom took us by surprise and wound up being the funniest part of the whole movie.

If you’ve been anywhere near the internet when Paul Feig’s new Ghostbusters movie is mentioned, then you’re well aware of the horrid response from a certain contingency of fan boys who already hate the movie based on the decision to cast four women in the lead roles. There have been the usual, lame cries of “You’re ruining my childhood!” and “Way to f— up the original!” Feig and the cast and crew of the film have mostly kept quiet…until now. And they’ve got the absolute best response to all those whiny haters.
