Avengers: Age of Ultron - Page 14
Vision and Ultron are two of the most prominent new elements in ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron,’ as both characters drive much of the film’s action. We’ve gotten several sneak peeks at the enigmatic Vision and the sinister Ultron, but this new premium figure from Hot Toys gives us the most sharp and sleek look at the epic super villain yet. If you’re an ‘Avengers’ fan and have some extra cash just laying around, maybe consider throwing it down for this awesome new toy—or “premium figure,” if you want to use grown-up language.
Jeremy Renner would not make a very good spy. The guy can’t keep his mouth shut! If you’re doing something secretive, you’re supposed to keep quiet about it. But earlier today Renner teased something he’s doing for Marvel as Hawkeye, the master archer of the Avenger. And, really, Renner should know better because he works for S.H.I.E.L.D. (and as Jason Bourne’s replacement in ‘The Bourne Legacy’!)
A new ‘Avengers 2’ trailer is coming in less than a week (airing on January 12 during the College Football National Championship on ESPN) and when it arrives we’ll start to know a little bit more about the very secretive plot. After trying to bring Hulk to the big screen not once, but twice, Marvel’s plans to give Bruce Banner and his volatile big green alter ego their own film have been placed on the back burner … for now. But Marvel hasn’t forgotten about Hulk’s solo films entirely because according to ‘The Incredible Hulk’ star Tim Roth, the studio almost brought his villainous character back for an appearance in ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron.’
2015 is going to be such a great year for movies—so great, in fact, that we couldn’t even narrow down our list of next year’s most anticipated films to just 10; we chose 25 instead (we’re loose cannons around here). But forget what we want. What are the most anticipated films according to moviegoing consumers like you, dear reader? A new poll reveals the top five most highly anticipated films of 2015, and the answers probably aren’t that surprising … but at least one of them is.
‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’ will undoubtedly be quite the spectacle, and it’s not the only huge movie Disney has lined up for 2015, either. The studio sent out a press release today detailing their major 2015 movie releases, and seeing all of those film titles on one list is kind of dizzying—like, Disney is going to make some big bank next year. Included in the release is a new sneak peek at ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron,’ which features the whole Avengers crew gathered in one place, and then some.
T-minus one week and counting until 2015 —and now that we’ve finally put our 2014 top-ten lists to bed, it’s time to turn our attention to the new year. From the looks of things so far, it should be a good one.
