FOX’s Gotham has always seemed to crib from Batman mythology far ahead of Bruce ever donning the cowl, but rarely do we see imagery plucked from even the Dark Knight’s worst nightmares. New Season 3 set photos reveal the kind of crazy new villains tearing across Batman’s future stomping grounds, looking almost right out of Frank Miller’s The Dark Knight Returns.
The Dark Knight Returns

Batman: The Dark Knight Returns is no exception and if you look closely, you can find nods to other DC titles like Swamp Thing, V For Vendetta, The Watchmen and Crisis on Infinite Earths. These are just some of the facts packed into the latest episode of You Think You Know Movies, which heads to Gotham with the animated Batman: The Dark Knight Returns!
Practically everyone loves Batman, thanks in part to Christopher Nolan's recent 'Dark Knight' take, so it's difficult to imagine any major disinterest in Warner Bros.' new Batman Exhibit, which will be on display as part of the studio's VIP tour. For $54 a pop, you can journey through the cinematic history of the Caped Crusader, examining props, ogling costumes and remembering the good times ('The Dark Knight') and the very bad times ('Batman and Robin').
Batman & Conan! Has a nice ring to it, doesn't it? Unfortunately, we may be waiting a long while before TV funnyman Conan O'Brien slinks into a costume and joins the Caped Crusader on a crime-fighting adventure, but we won't have to wait long to see him immersed in the Batman universe. Conan has joined the voice cast of Warner Bros./DC Entertainment's upcoming animated feature 'Batman: The Dark Knight Returns, Part 2'. So who will he be playing?

Though we aimed to give you the best possible recaps of everything that happened during the private panels for 'The Walking Dead,' 'Game of Thrones,' Marvel Studios and the like, it sure would have made our jobs a lot easier to watch them streaming live from our laptops. That's something New York Comic-Con is trying to do better this year.
'Batman: The Dark Knight Returns, Part 2' is landing on Blu-ray and DVD in early 2013, which seems like an awfully long wait at the moment for Batman hungry fans. However, to satisfy our craving for the second installment, the 'Dark Knight Returns, Part 2' trailer is now online. Check it out after the break!
‘The Dark Knight Rises’ brought closure to Christopher Nolan’s vision of the Batman, which began with ‘Batman Begins’ and extended through ‘The Dark Knight.’ But it also created a gaping hole in the Batman landscape, as fans of the Caped Crusader wonder what they’re going to look forward to now that Nolan’s passion project has come to a close. We might have a suggestion.
