The first 'Catching Fire' trailer has finally hit during the 2013 MTV Movie Awards, following a slew of Capitol Couture character posters and one "teaser-for-a-teaser trailer" that didn't reveal very much of anything (other than that Jennifer Lawrence's Katniss is still PO-ed for having almost died in 'The Hunger Games'). With no more lame flaming Mockingjay symbols, check out the first actual footage from the new sequel.

'The Hunger Games' proved adept at keeping audiences excited by offering brief glimpses at the movie, and letting everyone know about every casting decision, so it's no surprise that the follow-up 'Catching Fire' is using a similar strategy. We're still more than seven months out from 'The Hunger Games: Catching Fire,' but it's just released two new images.

Late last year we brought you the news that The CW had approved production on 'The Hunger Games'-esque summer reality competition series 'The Hunt,' while months before the network had developed a scripted pilot similarly derivative of the blockbuster film franchise. Now, even after 'The Selection' failed to meet CW standards the first time around, the network has given the green light to another pilot episode. Find out all about 'The Selection' inside!

With Jennifer Lawrence hosting, it was finally time for SNL to go after one of the biggest cultural phenomenons in the world: 'The Hunger Games.' The sketch finds Lawrence back in the shoes of Katniss Everdeen, fresh off her joint victory with Peeta and ready to take on the only thing more horrifying than the games themselves: the press conference that follows them.

Plus, the first still showing the two getting up close and personal. However, even more new pics from the sequel to last year's box office hit have been released, and there's a lot more drama to be had.

This past weekend's 'SNL' with Martin Short hosting and music legend Paul McCartney, certainly proved at least memorable, between the solemn cold opening paying tribute to the victims of the recent Sandy Hook tragedy, and Samuel L. Jackson accidentally cursing not once, but twice amid the sketches. So how can the series top itself again when 'SNL' returns in 2013? By recruiting 'The Hunger Games' and 'X-Men: First Class' star Jennifer Lawrence, as its next host, of course! Will she pay tribute to the 'SNL' greats?
