Thrill rides and attractions based on popular franchises have proven incredibly lucrative in the past decade, so it's not surprising that a massively popular young-adult book and film series is being eyed for the theme park treatment. What is a little surprising is that we're talking about 'The Hunger Games,' a franchise that takes place is a dystopian future where poor people suffer at the hands

'The Hunger Games: Catching Fire' picks up almost exactly where the first film ended, with Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) and Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) embarking on a victory tour to celebrate their surviving the Hunger Games and to spread government propaganda and fear. This section of the book (and, we imagine, the movie) is fairly action-free, but still pretty harrowing. A new clip from the film shows that a couple of good actors in a room can be just as exciting as an action scene.

In the first clip from 'The Hunger Games: Catching Fire,' Katniss Everdeen learns a valuable lesson about helping those in need. Boy, it's difficult to not imagine Mr. Rogers (R.I.P.) or some Disney Channel host voicing an introduction to the newly released footage. But, in all seriousness, Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) is dealing with some pretty intense issues for a teenager.

The tie-in promotional hit single hasn't been as popular/successful as it once was outside of the Bond movies (anyone remember the Soundgarden song in 'The Avengers'?), but that's not stopping 'The Hunger Games: Catching Fire' from featuring the new single from Christian Aguilera. To help sell the movie (and the song "We Remain") there's a brand new TV spot.

While this weekend's all-new 'SNL' installment featuring 'Scandal' star Kerry Washington and musical guest Eminem will prove an episode to watch, its forthcoming lineup is really on fire. Not only has Lady Gaga been confirmed to both host and perform in the subsequent installment, but the week to follow will see 'The Hunger Games: Catching Fire' star Josh Hutcherson take the stage!

Jennifer Lawrence has a busy schedule. 'The Hunger Games: Catching Fire' hasn't even hit theaters yet, and she's already busy filming the third installment, 'Mockingjay, Part 1,' in Atlanta and will presumably go right into production on 'Part 2' shortly after.
