The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon

About That Time Mark Ruffalo Hulked Out on a Child

EDIT
by Kate Erbland 7 days ago
"Are you-- are you the Hulk?" Prepare yourself for, quite possibly, the most adorable and charming story about mistaken superhero identity ever. Sure, Mark Ruffalo plays the Hulk as part of 'The Avengers,' but we all know that he's not actually the Hulk...right? Well, if you happen to be a pre-schooler, that line might be a little (understandably) blurred. This is a bit of an issue when non-Hulk Ruffalo participates in normal activities -- including being the parent of a pre-schooler.

Allison Williams Tries to Teach Jimmy Fallon How to Fly Like Peter Pan

NBC
'Tonight Show' host Jimmy Fallon is, perhaps, not quite ready to take to the skies in service to the mythos and magic of a Peter Pan tale, but when star Allison Williams asks him to do it, he kind of can't say no. After all, Williams is about to go high-flying on live television for an all-new 'Peter Pan,' the least Fallon can do is try it for a bit within the safety of his own studio.

Watch Benedict Cumberbatch Struggle to Make Jimmy Fallon Say “Booty”

EDIT

NBC
Jimmy Fallon’s supposedly good time games are becoming increasingly more complicated, threading in generally fun ideas (“let’s tell a story together!”) with weird constraints (“put you can only use three words!”) with one final, seemingly impossible demand (“and then you have to make me say this mystery word!”). Fortunately for the ‘Tonight Show’ host, he picked a game (tee hee) partner for his first crack at “Three-Word Stories.”

Josh Hutcherson’s Competitive Spirit Can’t Help His Beer Hockey Game

EDIT
by Kate Erbland November 14, 2014 10:01 AM
NBC
You'd think that after three 'Hunger Games' movies, star Josh Hutcherson would have tapped into new levels of athleticism and competitive achievement. You'd be wrong. The actor hit 'The Tonight Show' last night to talk about the latest entry in the blockbuster film franchise, and it really only did some natural that he and host Jimmy Fallon would engage in some good-natured gamesmanship.

Watch Channing Tatum Mercilessly Beat Jimmy Fallon's 'Box of Lies'

EDIT

NBC
Somehow, 'Foxcatcher' star Channing Tatum is the very first male guest to participate in a rousing round of Jimmy Fallon's 'Box of Lies' on 'The Tonight Show.' Fallon's results have been mixed -- the guy isn't very good at lying, especially when a giggly celebrity makes googley eyes at him in an attempt to throw him off his game -- but he has been getting better in recent weeks.

Watch Jeff Daniels Make the Entire 'Tonight Show' Audience Dance

EDIT
by Kate Erbland November 11, 2014 08:40 AM
NBC
Jeff Daniels would like to make you dance. Perhaps not you specifically -- but, heck, maybe -- but just anyone who gets to enjoy the dulcet tones of the 'Dumb and Dumber To' star whensoever he trills away with son's band. Daniels is a busy guy, but he still finds the time to jam out with his kid, and when that happens, it's dance time.

Jimmy Fallon is Somehow Better at Throwing Footballs Than Matthew McConaughey

EDIT
by Kate Erbland November 07, 2014 10:38 AM
Is there anything Matthew McConaughey can't do? Or, more precisely, is there anything that he can't do excellently? Turns out, the Oscar winner just might have a weak spot, and although it's not a big one, it's one that 'Tonight Show' host Jimmy Fallon gleefully exploited for his own edification on last night's show.

Even President Obama Can't Get Taylor Swift's Latest Jam Out Of His Head

EDIT
by Kate Erbland November 05, 2014 03:27 PM
NBC
Typically, when the 'Tonight Show' trots out one of their meticulously matched up music compilations, it's newsman Brian Williams who is tasked with "singing" whatever Jimmy Fallon and his band of evil geniuses have determined is most fitting. This time around, however, Williams is out, and a pair of topical public figures are very much in: Taylor Swift and President Barack Obama.

About That One Time Anne Hathaway Gate-Crashed Matthew McConaughey's House

EDIT
by Kate Erbland November 04, 2014 10:04 AM
NBC
Anne Hathaway and Matthew McConaughey are pretty tight these days -- their starring roles in Christopher Nolan's upcoming 'Interstellar' certainly helped seal that up -- which means they're not afraid to get kind of goofy around each other. Hathaway especially.

Daniel Radcliffe On His 'Tonight Show' Rap: "One of the Coolest Things I've Ever Done"

EDIT
by Mike Ryan October 30, 2014 02:13 PM
NBC
On Tuesday night, Daniel Radcliffe shocked the world with his amazingly great performance (with help from The Roots) of the Blackalicious song, ‘Alphabet Aerobics.’ On Thursday afternoon, we spoke to a still-quite-excited-about-his-performance Radcliffe (who is promoting his new movie, ‘Horns’; the full interview will publish on Friday) who explains how all of this happened and how Questlove almost scared him out of doing the performance in the first place.
