Last night, Comedy Central premiered their first 'Between Two Ferns' special, subtitled 'A Fairytale of New York.'  Host Zach Galifianakis hadn't recorded one of his popular Funny or Die shows in a while but returned last night with a whole batch of new interviews, framed around one of those Barbara Walters interview specials.  So how'd it go?

Love it or hate it, "Queen of Jordan" has returned to '30 Rock.' The faux reality show within the show starring Tracy's wife Angie (Sherri Shepherd) comes back this week for "Queen of Jordan 2: The Mystery of the Phantom Pooper." Unfortunately, the concept falls a little flat.

Last year '30 Rock' wowed audiences with its first live show, so it seemed only logical that another would follow. Returning to the comfort of the wheelhouse that made her a household name, Tina Fey shepherds us and her cohorts through another oft-hilarious live episode.

Nancy Meyers is close to striking a deal with Paramount for 'The Intern,' her new comedy starring Tina Fey. It's a great week for Meyers who has also signed on to direct 'The Chelsea,' starring Felicity Huffman.

Tina Fey found herself in the hotseat this morning on "The View," after her "30 Rock" co-star, Alec Baldwin tweeted "I think I'm leaving NBC just in time," yesterday.

This week's '30 Rock' seemed to be tightly reigned in, and devoid of most of the traditional shenaniganry (and we're not exactly sure that's a word, but it certainly applies to '30 Rock'). Jenna's antic's were toned down, Tracy was well-behaved, and I think the only "wacky" moment in the whole show came from a boxing dummy. You're all familiar with 'Two and a Half Men,' the head-scratchingly popular show that used to star Charlie Sheen, abuser of women, and now stars Ashton Kutcher, abuser of fame. The show's co-creator, Lee Aronsohn, recently had some despicable things to say about female-centric television from his throne of male righteousness.

We join our intrepid heroine Liz Lemon on April 14th, as she gets called 'predictable' by her accountant, which might be the most depressing thing that can happen to a person. We're treated to flashbacks that highlight just how repetitive her life seems to be getting, before the theme song break transports us to Jack's office, where Liz begins to realize that more of the same seems to be happening

Part of a double whammy back to back airing, this '30 Rock' episode is less about madcap plot scrambling, and more: "Hey, remember that Jack's wife got kidnapped?" Along with a generous topping of super-crazy Hazel the page.  But did it work?

Well, if it ain't broke, don't fix it, right?  At least that's what the writing staff behind '30 Rock' must be telling themselves these days, as the series continues looking to the past for buzz-worthy developments.  The latest?  Lights, camera, misanthropy!  '30 Rock' is going live once again.
