Fsociety, consider this your call to arms. After all the anticipation surrounding Mr. Robot Season 2 (so big, the first teaser couldn’t include any footage), USA finally has a premiere for Elliot’s new world order. Mr. Robot will officially return for Season 2 in July, but when?

Despite having only recently begun production, the second season of USA breakout Mr. Robot will remains under some pretty intense security. Case in point, the first Season 2 teaser promises a very different world and an uncertain future beyond, but will we actually get to see any of it?

We don’t know when exactly this summer USA’s breakout hit Mr. Robot will see Rami Malek and Christian Slater squaring off again for Season 2, but the wait for a first look is already over. Our first photo from the new season has arrived, along with additional castings that tease new details of the season breakdown.

Well, there’s two properties you never expected to share a casting announcement. Yes, following his work on HBO’s The Brink, former Daily Show correspondent Aasif Mandvi has landed himself two shiny new gigs, one busting hackers for USA’s Mr. Robot, the other as a sinister uncle to Netflix’s Series of Unfortunate Events. I smell crossover!

Given how great a surprise the whole first season of USA’s Mr. Robot turned out to be, it stands to reason each Season 2 announcement proves more unexpected than the last. Following some recent additions, The Office star and Hot Tub time-traveler Craig Robinson has joined Mr. Robot Season 2 in a surprising new role.

USA breakout Mr. Robot managed to keep plenty of surprises in store for its first season, as likely will it for Season 2, but we’re finally getting our first real intel. Not only have two fan-favorites been elevated to regular for Season 2, but also the latest additions tease some surprising developments for Elliot and the terrifying Joanna.

Given the extraordinary breakout success of Mr. Robot’s first season, no one was surprised to see creator Sam Esmail keeping plot details largely under wraps for Season 2. Now, our first clues have arrived with the casting of American Horror Story star Grace Gummer to the FBI.

USA’s Mr. Robot cemented its status as one of TV’s best with a drama win at the Golden Globes, but Season 2 still has a world of work ahead of it. Not only has USA firmed up a summer 2016 premiere, but cast and crew also offered details on the second season (and what we missed from the first!) from the TCA press tour.

The 2016 Golden Globes have been nothing if not consistent with surprises, and following all the unexpected Mozart in the Jungle love, the Best TV Drama went far more reasonably. USA breakout Mr. Robot is your new winner for 2016's Best TV drama, and deservedly so.

There weren’t terribly many laughs to be had over the course of USA’s first Mr. Robot season, trading in moody, off-center cyber-noir moreso than gags. Thankfully, you can revisit all those angles in a new light, courtesy of the Mr. Robot gag reel, in which Christian Slater may, or may not fart upwind of Rami Malek.
