The Oscars are a strange beast. Although we won't know the actual nominees until early next year, predictions are already flying fast and furious (didn't you hear that 'Argo' is going to win Best Picture?). To be fair, the award prognosticators have plenty of evidence to back up their predictions and claims. Now that the list of the 21 movies eligible for the Best Animated Feature award has been released, we can start wildly predicting in a new category.
'Wreck-It Ralph' has continuously dolling out new posters, trailers, commercials and the like for its upcoming November 2 theatrical release. It may seem like you've already experienced everything about this film, but there's still more of this "secret world of video games" to be had.
We had the opportunity to sit down with the film's director Rich Moore back during Comic-Con 2012 to talk about his latest project.
As if video game nostalgia weren't enough to get audiences into the theater, 'Wreck-it Ralph,' which opens November 2, has been laying out more and more content to get people excited. The latest are two featurettes that highlight the making of the film, and the voice cast, which includes John C. Reilly, Sarah Silverman and Jane Lynch.
This is one of the best years in recent memory for animation nuts. We've gotten a new Pixar movie, we're getting a new Walt Disney Animation movie, and we've got four stop-motion animation films for 2012 (bonus points if you can name the other three). Now you can see some new TV for two upcoming animation movies -- 'ParaNorman' and 'Wreck-It Ralph.'
Comic-Con 2012: Disney Presents 'Wreck-It Ralph,' 'Frankenweenie' and 'Oz, the Great and Powerful' live from Hall H! Panelists include Tim Burton, James Franco, Mila Kunis, John C. Reilly, Sara Silverman, Sam Raimi and more.
