George Clooney has never had any trouble assembling an all-star cast for his productions. Indeed, why would he? But his latest is looking like it boasts the most impressive line-up to date. Don't believe it? How does a movie featuring Clooney, Daniel Craig, Cate Blanchett, Bill Murray, John Goodman and recent Best Actor Oscar winner Jean Dujardin sound?

The project in question is historical epic 'The Monuments Men' which, as per Deadline, details the final days of Hitler's reign during WWII, as a crew of art historians and museum curators unite to recover renown works of art that were stolen by Nazis before Hitler destroys them.

It would appear as though the success of 'Argo' has paved the way for unique, exciting period dramas, and we couldn't be more grateful. Indeed, Clooney produced 'Argo' and the primary crew of  'The Monuments Men' will be the same as the Ben Affleck-directed box office champ.

Clooney will direct and produce, along with his partner Grant Heslov, 'Monuments Men,' which is a a co-production between Sony Pictures and 20th Century Fox. Film will be based on the book of the same name by Robert Edsel. Shooting is scheduled to begin on March 1 in Europe.
