We'd be hard pressed to think of anyone topping 'SNL''s brilliant 'Homeland' parody with Anne Hathaway, but 'The Simpsons' will give it its best shot. The long-running FOX animation staple's season 25 premiere on September 29 will see 'SNL' vet Kristen Wiig guest as an FBI agent suspiciously similar to 'Homeland''s Carrie Matheson, the first clip of which hits the manic nail right on the head.

Via Entertainment Weekly, the first clip from the 25th season sees Wiig's Carrie-lookalike agent both literally and figuratively getting into bed with Homer, who acts strangely polite after returning from a nuclear power plant convention. Of course, we wouldn't forget about the appearance of Saul Berenson, tragically not voiced by Bill Hader this time around.

This isn't the first time Wiig has piped up in Springfield either, having last lent her voice to ‘The Simpsons’ season 22 episode “Flaming Moe” as hippie music teacher Ms. Juniper. Meanwhile, ‘The Simpsons’ season 25 will feature appearances from returning ‘Parks and Recreation‘ star Amy Poehler and ‘Harry Potter’ vet Daniel Radcliffe, ‘Arrested Development‘ star Will Arnett, ‘Mad Men‘ star Elisabeth Moss, comic legend Stan Lee, and ‘The Newsroom‘ creator and acclaimed writer Aaron Sorkin.
