‘The Walking Dead’ Sneak Peek: Rick Goes “The Distance” Interrogating Aaron

Sunday’s latest The Walking Dead installment may have put “Them” through the emotional wringer, but does the mysterious new clean-cut stranger “Aaron” offer true hope? Rick aims to find out, in our first-look at next Sunday’s all-new episode “The Distance!”

Sure, Aaron (Ross Marquand) seems genuinely friendly, but the last group Rick and the other survivors trusted ended up having a good old-fashioned Bob-becue (forgive us), making our heroes understandably jumpy. Poor Aaron isn’t really helping his case much in the first clip from next Sunday night’s “The Distance,” doubting that Rick would ever trust him, regardless of how many more Aaron claims his camp might hold.

The Walking Dead synopses prove notoriously vague, but lets see what AMC had to offer of next week’s “The Distance”:

After withstanding a spectacular storm, Rick and the others meet what appears to be a friendly person, but find themselves mistrustful.

Well, that … seems on par with what we already knew. Of course, comic readers have a good idea of what Aaron and his people are all about, but you wouldn’t want a hearty, heaping helping of spoilers, now would you? No, you’re a savvy, watch-for-yourself type of reader. We’ll just leave this here, and quietly saunter away. No judgement!
