Ever since the swift stroke of a samurai sword saved Andrea from certain death in 'The Walking Dead' season 2 finale "Beside the Dying Fire," fans have clamored for their first taste of new season 3 character Michonne.  In advance of the trailer debut at Comic-Con 2012, you can now get your first look at the sword-swinging badass in action!

Thanks to AMC's 'Talking Dead' aftershow, we now have our first look at 'The Walking Dead's' Michonne in action! The first clip of the new season debuted as part of the show's preview weekend, which marathoned the series before a live installment of 'Talking Dead,' and the world premiere of pilot episode "Days Gone Bye"s black-and-white rendition.

In the clip, several walkers inside a local convenience store find themselves roused by a mysterious figure darting around them, when suddenly Michonne (Danai Gurira) appears, and swiftly lops off each of their heads! Stopping only for the aspirin she sought, Michonne then departs the scene. But who might the aspirin be for?

We'll see much more from 'The Walking Dead' season 3 at the show's Comic-Con 2012 panel, which is said to debut the season's four-minute trailer! We'll also hear personally from Gurira, and the rest of the cast, including fellow new addition David Morrissey, portraying the villainous Governor.

Check out the first official 'The Walking Dead' season 3 clip below, and tell us what you're most excited about in the comments!
