TowerFall Ascension Trailer: Hate Your Friends on PS4

The PlayStation Nation will be getting indie game TowerFall Ascension on PlayStation 4 in early 2014.

The game was revealed at last night’s PlayStation 4 launch event and will be coming to us from Vancouver-based indie developer, Matt Makes Games Inc. In TowerFall Ascension, you’ll battle against friends as you bounce around a tower. Your weapon of choice? Bows and arrows.

According to the post on the PlayStation Blog, TowerFall Ascension will be “fast-paced, intense, and strategic, with nuanced controls, one-hit kills, and limited ammo.”

What makes TowerFall Ascension special is that it focuses on local multiplayer, so it will bring to mind classic multiplayer video games in which your opponent(s) would be right next to you on the couch, rather than anywhere in the world.

Peep the trailer above and get ready to grab three other friends and start shooting arrows at each other in 2014 on PlayStation 4.
