'True Blood' "Fire in the Hole" Preview: Sookie and Bill Are On a Mission

EDIT

The Fourth of July may be upon us already, but the holiday weekend won't stop 'True Blood' from spurting out its third episode of the season, especially after the shocking ending that befell last week's "I Found You." While we wait for answers, check out the first photos and clip from this Sunday's "Fire in the Hole," which might just have yet another surprise return!

Though HBO curiously released the first clip from Sunday's "Fire in the Hole" in the weeks prior to the season 7 premiere, the footage shows Sookie and Bill putting their mysterious plan into action, and having to down a wee bit of blood to do it. Meanwhile, photos show our new James (Nathan Parsons) and Lafayette continually bonding, while the spoilery synopsis gets much more in-depth on the episode:

Episode #73: “Fire in the Hole”

Sookie (Anna Paquin) hatches a dangerous plan to take down the H-Vamps, even as Vince (Brett Rickaby) and his armed vigilantes pose an equally serious threat. Lafayette (Nelsan Ellis) gets high with James (Nathan Parsons); Jason (Ryan Kwanten) eyes a family future with Violet (Karolina Wydra); Willa (Amelia Rose Blaire) is forced to find a new place to stay; Sarah Newlin (Anna Camp) sheds her past. Pam (Kristin Bauer van Straten) offers Eric (Alexander Skarsgård) a compelling reason to return to Louisiana – and be the vampire he used to be.

Bodies for the final season of 'True Blood' started dropping before we even reached the premiere's opening credits, so might we say goodbye to another of Bon Temps' best this Sunday? How do you think the final season should end? Check out the clips and photos of "Fire in the Hole" above and below, and give us your season 7 predictions in the comments!
