‘True Blood’ Goes Crazy in Two Clips from “Authority Always Wins”

True Blood Season 5 Authority Always Wins
HBO

Anyone who caught the ‘True Blood‘ season 5 premiere “Turn! Turn! Turn!” knows that the final moments served up a completely game-changing twist for one particular character, and a full week is just too long to wait to see how it turns out.  So before ‘True Blood’ gushes out its second episode “Authority Always Wins” this Sunday June 17, how would you like an early taste?

With Tara dead, deposed King Russell Edgington out on the loose somewhere and Bill and Eric Compton in the custody of the Vampire Authority, ‘True Blood’ season five has its plate full of stories to tell after only one episode.  Thank the maker that HBO wouldn’t make us wait a full week for a fresh taste of this coming Sunday’s “Authority Always Wins!”

In the first of two clips below, Tara reacts to her new-found condition having burst forth from the ground as a Vampire, and suffice to say, she’s not using her words very well.  Might her Vampiric rage be a temporary side effect of her turning, or rather to do with the hole that Debbie Pelt blew in her skull not 24 hours prior?

The second look at Sunday’s episode gives us our first real look inside the Vampire Authority as Bill Compton and Eric Northman are brought into for imprisonment, though no sign yet of ‘Law and Order: SVU‘ and ‘Spartacus‘ stars Christopher Meloni and Peter Mensah.  And with Bill and Eric’s imprisonment, might we learn about that mysterious zombie-looking fellow we glimpsed in prison in earlier trailers?

Watch the clips below, be sure to catch ‘True Blood’ season 5′s second episode “Authority Always Wins” this Sunday on HBO, and let us know what you think in the comments!
