Avengers Infinity War and its sequel could more aptly be titled Getting The Band Back Together Parts I and II. Everyone is going to be in these movies, from humans to gods to magicians to aliens to sentient synthetic robot people, even down to more minor characters who have had larger parts in smaller superhero movies. Like Ty Simpkins, for example, who played adorable whiz kid Harley Keener in Iron Man 3 and who has officially been cast in the still-untitled Avengers 4.

This news comes straight from IMDb, who tweeted out the cast addition this weekend.

You’ll probably remember little Harley as the precocious kid who finds Tony and his damaged suit hiding out in rural Tennessee, searching for the Mandarin. Like everyone in Stark’s life, their friendship is unlikely, but strong, as both assist each other in their character arcs.

We don’t know in exactly what capacity Harley is returning to the Avengers universe, though some think it might be because Tony’s about to meet his demise. He was the O.G. Avenger all the way back in 2008, kind of the leader of the whole gang, and his death would pack quite a wallop. Plus, it’s time for these movies to have some real stakes. If there’s going to be a funeral scene, Harley would most likely be a part of it.

But his addition to the cast doesn't necessarily spell doom for any Avenger — he could just be there to provide some much needed moral support and advice on a few suit fixes. Fingers crossed.

Avengers: Infinity War hits theaters May 4, 2018. The sequel follows on May 3, 2019.
