One of the big mysteries in the Marvel universe right now is how Vin Diesel fits into it. A few weeks ago, the 'Fast and Furious 7' actor let the world know that he was taking a meeting with Marvel Studios, but did not care to elaborate - thus spawning dozens of conspiracy theories. Vin has once again been kind enough to share a little about his connection with Marvel - and might have revealed which character he'll be playing in the near future.

Diesel took to his Facebook page (as is his wont) and gave his millions of fans a semi-cryptic update. Posting the picture you see above, which shows Vin next to a cover of 'Avengers' Issue #2, the actor wrote the following caption:

Marvel meeting today... Only the people in the room can tell you what was discussed...P.s. Thanks to Our page, for pushing to make it happen... you know I get tunnel vision with my work... and after that meeting today... wow!

Now, the folks over at BleedingCool think something can be read into Diesel's use of the word "vision". As in The Vision, a member of 'The Avengers' in the comics and potential character in Joss Whedon's 'The Avengers 2,' and one Diesel has virally campaigned to play. We're not sure about that, but it's an intriguing idea.

What about the "Giant Man" seen on the 'Avengers' comic cover? In the comics, Giant-Man was actually an alternate version of 'Ant-Man', aka Henry Pym - and we know that Marvel is actively looking for an actor to portray that fellow. However, another Marvel character, Henry Foster aka Black Goliath, was also referred to as Giant-Man. Hmmm. (Below you'll find a clearer version of that cover, just for fun.)

What do you think? Has Vin Diesel already told us who he'll be playing in the Marvel universe? Are we all reading too much into this? We want to know!
