The other day, rumblings were felt throughout the X-Mansion and beyond: Hugh Jackman may leave the adamantium claws behind and stop playing Wolverine. Of course, this would lead one to believe that the role would eventually be recast. To use a psychiatrist cliché, how would that make you feel?

To be clear, there's no solid indication that Jackman is done with Logan forever. The actor, when asked if he could envision playing Wolverine after this summer's 'The Wolverine' and next year's 'X-Men: Days of Future Past,' stated, "I won’t say never, because I’m still loving it. But there would have to be a pretty compelling reason." So that leaves the door open...for now.

Jackman has played the character in six films total (seven if you count his cameo in 'X-Men: First Class'), so it's only natural that some fatigue would set in. That said, it's hard to imagine Fox would shelve the character completely if Jackman decides to call it quits. The studio is likely to continue making 'X-Men' movies for, well, forever. We've seen the likes of Batman, Spider-Man, The Hulk and others recast in recent years, so why not Logan, as well?

Vote in our poll, and tell us if you can picture a different actor playing Wolverine. (And if you have another actor in mind that you can actually picture in the role, let us in on it!)
