Based on the World of Warcraft massively multiplayer online role-playing game, Legendary's film version is slated to start shooting during the early part of 2014.

'World of Warcraft' producer Charles Roven discussed the production with SlashFilm, which could keep the adaptation on track for a 2015 theatrical release.

“First quarter 2014 we’re going to shoot that movie,” Roven said. “We’re moving forward; obviously Legendary is making that film and I’m having a great time with [director] Duncan [Jones].”

After originally being in the hands of Sam Raimi, Legendary and Blizzard turned to the 'Source Code' and 'Moon' director (and David Bowie's son) to take the reins on 'WoW.' Little is known about how Jones plans to bring Warcraft to life on the silver screen, but if the movie does indeed start shooting on time in 2014, than it's entirely possible we could see the first footage sometime that summer (perhaps E3 or San Diego Comic Con).

Which storyline and characters do you want to see brought to life most in 'World of Warcraft?'
