The 2014 MTV Movie Awards debuted new looks at a few of the most highly anticipated films, including 'X-Men: Days of Future Past.' Star Ellen Page came out on stage to debut a new clip from the epic mutant team-up, and you can watch it now online.

'X-Men: Days of Future Past' features one massive cast, including James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult, Hugh Jackman, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Halle Berry, Shawn Ashmore, Ellen Page and tons more. Why so many? The film takes its name from the comic book story arc of the same name, which sees two storylines across two time periods play out. As mutant-hunting Sentinel robots swarm the planet in the distant future, Wolverine is sent back in time to warn the X-Men's younger selves of when it all went wrong and to stop this apocalyptic future from ever happening.

In the 'X-Men: Days of Future Past' clip from the 2014 MTV Movie Awards, we get to see a little bit of what this chaotic future is like for those select few mutants remaining. As Sentinels continue to decimate their kind, the likes of Kitty Pryde (Ellen Page), the teleporting Blink (Fan Bingbing), the gun-slinging Bishop (Omar Sy), the super-strong Warpath (Booboo Stewart) and the ice-surfing Iceman (Shawn Ashmore) struggle to survive.

'X-Men: Days of Future Past' hits theaters this May 23, but a new trailer will debut online in just two days time. So check back later this week to see more.
