ScreenCrush Awards: Fans Pick the Best Movies and TV Shows of 2012!

Though we already have the 2013 Golden Globes winners and even the nominees for the upcoming 2013 Oscars, there's still the matter of the ScreenCrush Awards. For the past month or so, you all, the most die-hard fans of movies and TV, have been voting on the best movies, TV shows, trailers, posters and the like from the past year, and now that the polls are closed, we have those results!

When it came to the best movies of 2012, the top contenders were, obviously, Christopher Nolan's 'The Dark Knight Rises' and Joss Whedon's 'The Avengers,' both of which dominated the box office during the summer months and reinvigorated the superhero movie genre. Simultaneously, the two TV series going head-to-head were FX's 'Sons of Anarchy,' which topped the fan picks during the midway mark, and AMC's 'The Walking Dead.'
