We haven’t heard very much of Sam Raimi and Bruce Campbell’s ‘Ash vs. Evil Dead’ Starz revival since its inception, but the groovy one-time S-Mart stockboy won’t be alone in his new fight. Two new stars have joined the battle of ‘Ash vs. Evil Dead,’ and both of them will hail to the king, baby.

Per The Hollywood Reporter, ‘Dexter’ star Ray Santiago will portray Pablo Simon Bolivar, an idealistic immigrant who becomes the Sancho Panza to Ash’s Don Quixote, a champion of his jaded partner’s heroism. Additionally, ‘Growing Up Fisher’ star Dana DeLorenzo will play Kelly Maxwell, a moody wild child fleeing her past, who finds a new family with Ash and Pablo after being reluctantly dragged into their fight.

Set for a late 2015 debut and with Sam Raimi and Rob Tapert on board to write and direct, here’s how Starz describes the new series:

Bruce Campbell will be reprising his role as Ash, the stock boy, aging lothario and chainsaw-handed monster hunter who has spent the last 30 years avoiding responsibility, maturity and the terrors of the Evil Dead. When a Deadite plague threatens to destroy all of mankind, Ash is finally forced to face his demons –personal and literal. Destiny, it turns out, has no plans to release the unlikely hero from its “Evil” grip.

For those unfamiliar with the original ‘Evil Dead,’ the film followed Campbell’s Ash and friends as they visit a woodland cabin, where they accidentally release demons intent on possessing the living. The film spawned two sequels and numerous tie-ins, as well as the recent 2013 reboot.

We’re excited to see what Starz comes up with for ‘Ash vs. Evil Dead,’ so what other names might join the fray of Sam Raimi’s new horror vision?
