We recently heard the news that Joss Whedon will not be including Loki (Tom Hiddleston) in 'The Avengers 2.' For some, this is blasphemy; for others, a perfectly agreeable idea. Can you picture an 'Avengers' sequel without the God of Mischief?

'The Avengers 2' doesn't come out until May, 2015, and we've got three Marvel movies to go before we reach it, so a lot can happen in this movie universe before then. We know for a fact that Loki is in 'Thor: The Dark World,' but we can't even be sure that he makes it out alive.

But Loki has already become a fan favorite, and his presence in the Marvel universe is almost as important as any of the superheroes that he's battled. An 'Avengers' movie without Loki is borderline unthinkable for some.

So what do you think? Would you like to see Loki show up in 'The Avengers 2,' or should Joss Whedon and co. move on and focus on new antagonists? Vote in our poll below, and let us know how you feel about Loki in the comments section.
