One of the cooler things Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice has going for it is the involvement of composer Hans Zimmer, who previously scored Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight trilogy, which should lend a bit of dark, orchestral familiarity to Zack Snyder’s film. To keep things a bit fresh, Zimmer has collaborated with Junkie XL (the maestro behind Mad Max: Fury Road) on the upcoming superhero epic, and you can listen to the first track from the film right now.

Junkie XL is a former protege of Zimmer, so the pair have a professional familiarity, making their collaboration feel effortless and cohesive. You can hear that in the first track from Batman v Superman, a riveting piece titled “Their War Here,” which combines the elegant symphonic work of Zimmer with heavy, insistent drums to create a track with a sense of urgency:
